35-year-old male admitted to the Emergency Department for abdominal pain; ultrasound showed a well-defined hypoechoic mass without hypervascularization at Color Doppler (41 x 21 mm). MRI showed diffusion restriction in DWI sequences and modest and homogeneous enhancement of the signal after contrast, inseparable from the colon. However, real-time ultrasound examination showed regular sliding of the intestinal loops compared to the adherent formation to the parietal peritoneum, confirmed as LIPOMA at cutting needle biopsy.
