Intraductal cholangiocarcinoma (iCCA) is an aggressive subtype of liver cancer that develops within the intrahepatic bile ducts, often characterized by papillary growth. It represents one of the main forms of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, known for its high mortality rate, genetic mutations (such as IDH1/2, FGFR2), and resistance to conventional therapies.
