A 45-year-old woman was hospitalized for acute epigastric pain and jaundice. Abdominal ultrasound revealed dilation of the biliary tree with a stone embedded in the distal common bile duct, associated with cholelithiasis. MRCP confirmed this diagnosis. ERCP (sphincterotomy and pneumatic dilation) was then performed with removal of the stone.
