A duodenal bulb deformity occurs when a peptic ulcer heals with fibrosis and scarring (the contraction of the scar tissue pulls the wall inward), altering the normal rounded contour of the bulb. This is a permanent distortion of the duodenal bulb.
In this case, we can observe a transverse linear scar and a pseudodiverticulum of the anterior wall.
