A 43-year-old woman was admitted to the emergency room for acute diverticulitis. A CT scan revealed a hypervascular lesion in the stomach. After the colonic diverticulitis resolved, she underwent gastroscopy, which identified multiple umbilicated lesions on the gastric wall in the context of diffuse atrophic gastritis. For a complete evaluation, blood tests revealed cyanocobalamin deficiency, positive APCA, and elevated chromogranin A.
