A 59-year-old female was referred to the gastroenterology clinic for recurrent abdominal pain, that worsened after meals and partially improved after vomiting. She experienced this symptom for over a year and she did not benefit from taking PPI. She underwent upper GI endoscopy without significative findings. Abdominal ultrasound scan showed a focal wall thickening of an intestinal loop (see video on Youtube https://youtu.be/YxSJwQyTyEs ) and focal liver lesions. Abdominal CT scan and CT enterography supported clinical and ultrasound suspicion of small intestine neuroendocrine tumour with liver metastasis. It was confirmed at the histological examination of surgical specimen after resection. Furthermore, patient was treated with imatinib for the metastatic disease.
